During the last two weeks our school has been visited by Mrs. Sandi Fryer and Abby Weeks, the former being the mother and the latter a friend of our English teacher, Miss Jessica Lee Taylor.

They have been so impressed by our kids and their willingness to learn that we decided together to give them a great opportunity to develop and strengthen their English skills.

In collaboration with The Valley School of Ligonier, where Mrs Fryer teaches, we want to implement an exchange of letters between our students and chosen counterparts in the States.

In the future this may lead to a direct exchange using VOIP technology or a chat that is currently under construction on the school's website.

We would like to express our deepest appreciation to Mrs. Fryer for her attention and enthusiasm in embarking in this experience which will be a priceless one for our pupils and for the students from the United States. Opening windows to other cultures will definitely increase global awareness and foster peaceful multicultural connections.

Durante le ultime due settimane la nostra scuola è stata visitata da Susan Fryer e da Abby Weeks, madre e amica della nostra professoressa di inglese, Jessica Lee Taylor.

I nostri ragazzi, con la loro voglia di imparare le hanno così entusiasmate che si è deciso insieme di lanciare una nuova iniziativa e dare ai nostri ragazzi una grande possibilità per migliorare le loro abilità in inglese.

In collaborazione con Valley School of Ligonier, la scuola dove insegna la signora Fryer, si è deciso di implementare uno scambio di lettere fra i nostri ragazzi e controparti americane.

In futuro lo scambio potrà avvenire anche attraverso internet con programmi come Skype o con la chat che sarà presto lanciata sul nostro sito.

Vogliamo esprimere alla signora Fryer la nostra gratitudine per la sua attenzione ed entusiasmo nelle iniziare questa esperienza che sarà di inestimabile valore per i nostri ragazzi e per i ragazzi americani. Aprire finestre sul mondo aumenterà la consapevolezza della dimensione globale e creerà legami di pace multiculturali.
